We are looking for a sporty, fit, toned physique. The lady athlete should have some ab definition and not be excessively muscular. There has to be balance of the upper and lower body, the candidate should present herself in a healthy and attractive total package. She needs to be comfortable with who she is and with her body – and she must bring her personality.
We will look at the hair and facial beauty; the overall body development and shape; the presentation of a balanced, symmetrically developed, complete physique; the condition of the skin and the skin tone; and the athlete’s ability to present herself with confidence, poise and grace.
The body parts should have a nice and firm appearance with a decreased amount of body fat. The physique should neither be excessively muscular nor excessively lean. The assessment will also take into consideration the tightness and tone of the skin. The skin should be smooth and healthy in appearance, and without cellulite. The face, hair and makeup should complete the ‘Total Package.
A two piece bikini must be worn. Any colour that the athlete choses, patterns are allowed and any amount of “bling” is allowed on the bikini. Only basic jewellery may be worn (ear rings, max 2 bracelets). Any type of shoe that matches or compliments the athlete’s bikini may be worn. The bikini top and bottom has to be of an acceptable size as to cover all necessary areas adequately.
We are looking for a fit, toned (muscular in the case of the men) physique that looks great in fitness-wear. The candidate should present him/herself in a healthy and attractive total package. He/She needs to be comfortable with who he/she is and with their body – and she must bring her personality to stage. Confidence but not arrogance.
We will look at the style of the sports wear and how well it presents his/her body. The hair and facial beauty matching the style of the sportswear; the overall body development and shape, the athlete’s ability to present him/herself with confidence. Any type of sportswear may be worn with sports shoes. No jewellery is allowed.
Competitors will walk onstage in a single line in number sequence; they will then stand in a line with hips and body facing the judges in a relaxed manner with their arms at their sides
The MC will then call for A FULL TURN and the line-up of athletes will turn completely to face the back of the stage. They will hold this for a time standing in a relaxed manner arms at their side.
The MC will once again call for A FULL TURN and the line-up of athletes will turn
completely to face the judges again. They will hold this for a time.
All of the athletes will then leave the stage.
The athletes will then return one by one and perform a Model T-Walk. The Model Walk consists of the following:
- Walk to the centre of the stage, stop and do a front and rear pose
- Turn and walk to the left side of the stage, stop and perform a front and back pose
- Walk to the right side of the stage, stop and perform a front and back pose
- The athlete will then leave the stage
Modelling and Bodybuilding poses are allowed.
Finally the entire line up will be called back on to stage and face the Judges.
